There are three stages in building a pool: Design, Build, and Maintain. At Poolworld (located in Portland, OR) we first seek to understand what the customer wants and what purpose the pool is going to serve; leisure, exercise, etc. Space is taken into consideration, the elements around that space, and finally the budget. This helps determine size, shape and accessories of the pool. We then use this information along with pictures of the back yard in our design program to create a very realistic design.
The construction phase starts with the engineering plans and the permits from the county, Excavation, re-bar, plumbing, shotkrete, coping, tile, equipment installation, decks. The final step in this phase is completing the interior finish (Plaster or Hydrazzo).
Once your pool is complete, it’s all about maintenance. This is a simple process that is taught to our customers and allows for many years of use with minimal effort. We also provide our customers with the peace of mind where we will service the pool and maintain it like it was our own. Heck, we are very proud of every pool we create!
